They ARE cute, I think. I am happy, too, that girls whose parents (or girls themselves) who can't afford AGs can enjoy these. I also think they're cuter than Target's Our Generation dolls.
Well... They may be copiers, but I really like the dolls... And the clothes collection they have is really well priced, IMO. Check out the red-haired doll, though... She has green eyes... Like Felicity? LOL.

I agree, for the price, they look lice nice dolls. The hands look like AG hands.
I tried to order one, just for the heck of it, to compare. I figured the price was really good.
Well....you can fill out all the info, including an address to bill and ship to the US, but when you get to the actual shipping page, it's Canadian shipping only. I couldn't find any other options.
Hehe, I really like the part where they promote uniqueness.
Maybe someone from Canada could do a group order?
My husband has been traveling out of the country for work quite a bit lately. We tease my daughter that he will bring her back a doll from that country with their take on American girl. We had her going that there was a Germany girl store or a Mexico girl store, I know-we're evil.
anyways, he's leaving for Canada tomorrow so he's going to see if he has time to shop for this doll. I think their outfits are very cute.
My daughter only collects for the today girls so we enjoy a wide variety of clothing. I wish the MY TWINN clothing fit the american girls because they have such a great selection on today outfits.
They're the same doll as the Gali Girls (www.galigirls.com) and also Lillian Vernon just started selling that doll again in a trunk set:

The Lillian Vernon one is $60. I have her (from Gali Girls) and she's not a bad doll. (There's a review at Just Magic.)
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I would love to see an AG-like doll from Mexico or any other country. A Chinese friend tried to find a Chinese AG-like doll for me and searched just about every Chinese language website to find one. No cigar. The dolls made for local consumption are either "baby" dolls or fashion dolls. The AG-clones and wannabes are all made for export. Maybe your husband could bring back a bunch and start a business importing them... LOL!Originally posted by ams37:

I, too, collect mainly today clothes, although "today" means mostly 1950/1960s style clothes, and would love to see MyTwinn make a line of clothes for AGs. At least one of the companies that sells "slim" dolls also offers a line of AG-sized clothes.

Taffy
I she a Lotus doll? A local store was selling them for around 10.00 last year and i bought a couple but they didn't have this one. I think they're very nice dolls for the price but a little too thin to wear a lot of my AG clothes.
